Must-Have:
- OTM Module Architecture: Comprehensive hands-on experience designing and deploying ServiceNow Operational Technology Management suites.
- Industrial Framework Mastery: Deep understanding of the Purdue Model for Industrial Control Systems (Levels 0 to 3) and ISA-95 equipment model mapping.
- OT Asset & CMDB Extensions: Advanced knowledge configuring OT specific configuration item classes (cmdb_ci_ot), entity details, and tracking industrial hardware types (PLCs, SCADA, DCS, HMIs).
- OT Discovery & Ingestion: Direct experience utilizing Service Graph Connectors for OT Discovery (e.g., Claroty, Nozomi, Microsoft Defender for IoT) and configuring OT Discovery schedules.
- Operational Technology Service Management (OTSM): Proven competence setting up industrial processes covering OT Incident, OT Change, and OT Request Management inside the Industrial Workspace.
- OT Vulnerability Response: Experience implementing security risk detection workflows, monitoring production floor threats, and aligning with security visibility dashboards.
- Certified System Administrator (CSA) · Certified Application Developer (CAD

SN Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role
- Architect Industrial Visibility: Design, model, and maintain the central Operational Technology asset registry bridging production network environments safely into ServiceNow.
- Enforce CSDM for OT: Map conceptual elements of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) to Equipment Model Entities and industrial production line sites.
- Automate Multi-Source Ingestion: Deploy OT certified Service Graph Connectors and configure the Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) to resolve conflicting boundary data.
- Build Industrial Workspaces: Tailor the user experience within the specialized ServiceNow Industrial Workspace to empower factory operations managers and plant engineers.
- Deploy OT Security Workflows: Implement automated risk identification frameworks using the OT Vulnerability Response module to minimize zero-day exposure across air-gapped zones.
- Unify IT and OT Operations: Bridge IT Service Management with operational site workflows, managing cross-network dependencies safely without risking production floor downtime.
- Govern Asset Integrity: Establish validation controls, synchronization loops between physical infrastructure shifts, and optimize data health scorecards.
