Performance Test Lead

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in NeoLoad: Extensive experience with the Tricentis NeoLoad performance testing tool.
• Performance Testing Concepts: Solid understanding of performance engineering, load testing methodologies, and performance metrics.
• Requirements Analysis: Collaborating with stakeholders, developers, and architects to understand non-functional requirements and define performance testing objectives and strategies.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with web technologies, client-server architecture, API testing, and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
• Execution: Executing various types of performance tests, including load, stress, endurance, and capacity testing.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to pinpoint and resolve complex performance issues.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder management and reporting.

Desired / Secondary Skills

• Experience with other performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, and experience testing cloud-native applications.
• Experience with testing specific enterprise applications such as Oracle Fusion, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, etc.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified NeoLoad Professional.
• CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating performance testing into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab to automate performance testing processes.
• Scripting Skills: Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript for developing advanced test cases is beneficial.
