Academic Counselor

Band Nine Academy, founded by Elizabeth John, a renowned IELTS coach in India, is an IELTS training institute based in Kottayam, Kerala, helping students achieve their desired band scores through personalized, strategy-focused training.

We are looking for a student-focused Academic Counsellor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Kottayam, Kerala

• Call and connect with daily leads and understand their requirements.
• Guide students based on their individual needs and provide appropriate course information.
• Encourage and coordinate demo class attendance.
• Follow up with leads regularly through calls and WhatsApp.
• Build relationships with students and support them throughout their decision-making journey.
• Convert interested leads into enrollments and maintain accurate lead records.

• Fluent in Malayalam and comfortable communicating with students in Malayalam. (Mandatory)
• Excellent at talking to students, understanding their needs, and providing the right support.
• Prior knowledge of IELTS, Spoken English, or PTE is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in IELTS, Spoken English, PTE, EdTech, education counselling, or admissions will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, listening, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.
• Friendly, responsible, and student-focused approach.
