Client Services and Data Management is part of Middle Office Department provides exceptional customer service to the global corporate portfolio by managing and resolving a broad range of complex customer needs involving various investment banking products and market segments. This requires a high level of responsiveness to internal and external customer requests and strong critical thinking ability as work is performed without substantial direction after initial training.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day support relating to Corporate Investment Banking transactions and customer service matters.
  • Daily tasks include booking of loans, deposits, transaction clearance, and resolving booking and settlement issues.
  • Proactively assist with complex customer service needs to provide a one-stop customer service experience.
  • Assist in making sound decisions regarding customer requests, balancing risk with opportunity.
  • Evaluate customer service issues by identifying root causes and making recommendations for process improvement.
  • Support various departments on new workflow, reporting, and administrative functions.
  • Ensure high data quality and participate in data clean-ups and validation exercises.
  • Assist with special projects and implementation of department initiatives as appropriate.
  • Support is expected to expand to cover the wider APAC region.
  • Update change management and related processes.

Job Requirements:

  • The candidate should possess a degree; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

    • Interest rates
    • Loans and deposits
    • Foreign exchange
    • Trade finance
    • Remittance
    • Relevant documentation
  • Experience in customer service is an added advantage.
  • Must be able to work Hong Kong working hours.
