Agent Engineer

What You’ll Do

• Design and configure AI agents for real-world business use cases.
• Develop effective prompts, instructions, personas, and conversation flows.
• Integrate agents with APIs, tools, connectors, CRM, banking, ticketing, messaging, and knowledge systems.
• Identify and handle edge cases, failures, ambiguity, and recovery scenarios.
• Build and execute evaluation and regression test scenarios to improve agent quality.
• Iterate agent behaviour based on real-world usage, feedback, and performance.
• Work on Conversational Agents or Work Agents.
• Support rapid POC development and customer-facing solution delivery.

Must-Have Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on LLM / Generative AI / Software Engineering experience
• Strong Prompt Engineering & Instruction Design experience
• Experience building AI Agents / Agentic AI / Conversational AI
• Understanding of tool calling, API integration, and workflows
• Experience with LLM evaluation, testing, and edge-case handling
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work on production-oriented AI solutions

Good to Have

• Experience with multilingual or conversational AI
• Experience with Indian languages / code-switching
• Experience with workflow automation and scheduled AI tasks
• Experience with RAG, LangChain, LangGraph or similar agent frameworks
• Customer-facing POC or solution delivery experience
