Are you an experienced maritime claims professional with expertise in P&I Claims, FD&D Disputes, Marine Insurance, and Shipping Law?
We are looking for an Assistant Claims Manager to join our growing team and play a key role in managing maritime claims while coordinating with P&I Clubs, legal counsel, surveyors, and key stakeholders across the shipping industry.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Manage and support P&I and FD&D claims for shipping clients
✔ Coordinate with P&I Clubs, surveyors, consultants, and external legal counsel
✔ Handle claims investigations, negotiations, and settlements
✔ Review legal reports, claims documentation, and Statements of Account
✔ Support Board reporting, claims analysis, and reporting activities
✔ Contribute to loss prevention initiatives and industry seminars
✔ Attend investigations and legal proceedings, as required
Preferred Candidate Profile
✔ 3–5 years of relevant experience in FD&D disputes and marine insurance claims
✔ LLB/LLM qualification; an advanced degree in Maritime Law will be preferred
✔ Candidates with a Maritime/Shipping background are strongly preferred
✔ Experience with a P&I Club, Shipping Company, or Maritime Law Firm will be an advantage
✔ Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and project management skills
✔ Immediate joiners are preferred
