Job Description
Designations: Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor
Qualifications: M.Pharm./Pharma D./Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry, as applicable to the position. Relevant academic records and Ph.D. requirements shall apply as specified for each designation.
Experience:
- Professor: Minimum 10 years of Teaching/Research/Industry experience, including at least 5 years at Associate Professor level.
- Associate Professor: Ph.D. with at least 8 years of experience at Assistant Professor level.
- Assistant Professor: B.Pharm. & M.Pharm./Pharma D.; Ph.D. is desirable.
- Preferred Profile: Strong teaching and research experience, publications, Ph.D. guidance, books, patents, consultancy, funded projects, and industry/institutional collaborations.
Areas of Specialization: Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Pharmaceutics.
Key Responsibilities: Teaching and laboratory instruction; student assessment and mentoring; research and Ph.D. guidance; consultancy and industry-sponsored projects; academic and institutional administration; programme development; research funding; faculty development; industry interaction; and other responsibilities assigned by the Dean.
