Senior Azure Data Engineer + Azure AI Foundry

Role Snapshot

We are looking for a senior Azure Data Engineer who can build scalable data solutions and also design and deploy AI applications/agents using Azure AI Foundry. This person should be strong in enterprise data engineering, modern Azure tooling, and governed GenAI delivery.

Must-Have

• Strong Azure Data Engineering background
• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure Databricks
• Python
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure SQL DB
• Databricks Apps
• CI/CD and GitHub
• Medallion architecture
• Experience designing and delivering end-to-end Azure data solutions
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry for building AI applications and agents
• Strong working knowledge of LLMs and prompt engineering
• Ability to work in governed enterprise environments and partner with stakeholders

Nice-to-Have

• Databricks Mosaic AI
• Other newer Databricks AI features
• Experience in Energy, Trading & Supply, or similar enterprise domains

Ideal Candidate

• Senior Azure Data Engineer with added AI/GenAI delivery experience
• Has built production data pipelines and platform solutions in Azure
• Has hands-on experience taking AI use cases into production using Azure AI Foundry
• Comfortable balancing engineering depth, governance, and business collaboration
