Backend Engineer – Python, FastAPI & PostgreSQL

Location: Hyderabad / Remote

We are hiring a Senior Python Backend - postgresql to build scalable, secure, and production-ready applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop backend services using Python, FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Build REST APIs and microservices.
• Work with SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, and Alembic migrations.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and RBAC.
• Develop unit and integration tests using Pytest.
• Work with Docker, CI/CD, and AWS services.
• Optimize database queries and application performance.
• Support asynchronous workflows using Celery, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to system design.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Python backend development experience.
• Strong FastAPI/Django/Flask experience.
• Proficiency in SQLAlchemy and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Alembic, Pytest, Docker, Git, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on AWS experience.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and secure coding practices.
• Strong understanding of database transactions and query optimization.

Good to Have:

• React/TypeScript experience.
• Kafka, Celery, RabbitMQ, or serverless architecture.
• Kubernetes/Terraform exposure.
• Experience with ETL, fintech, healthcare, or AI/RAG applications.
