Job Description
- BS Computer Science or equivalent.
- Applicant should possess outstanding problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient in C/C++, and ability to perform C/C++ runtime debugging
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows system APIs (C) for networking, files and file systems, access control, and process management
- Strong Data Structures and Algorithms knowledge
- Knowledge of networking concepts and SMB/CIFS, NFS, and DNS network protocols
- Knowledge of at least 2 Windows and UNIX/Linux scripting languages (Perl, Windows batch, UNIX shell)
- Bonus: Hands-on experience administering either UNIX/Linux or Windows
- Ability to work well independently and within our geographically dispersed Agile development environment
- Design and develop new product features using Agile methodologies.
- Investigate and resolve issues as they arise in the product.
- Document design alternatives, design decisions, development progress, and unit test results in our Change Management system
- Provide information to and work effectively with our Documentation, Quality Engineering, and Performance teams.
- Comply with all professional departmental as well as company best practices.
