What Youll Be Doing (position summary):

The CASA Indexing Processor is responsible for verifying, classifying, and indexing Business Account documents related to signing authorities, while ensuring compliance with internal signing authority controls

How Youll Succeed (responsibilities):

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Receive imaged documents and verify, correct, reject, delete, classify, and index them in accordance with the applicable procedures manual
  • Process obsolete jobs and update document statuses accurately and in a timely manner
  • Store documents in the appropriate location in accordance with Records Retention guidelines
  • Ensure all assigned items are completed within established timelines and service expectations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including projects related to data integrity, testing following technology enhancements, and quality assurance
  • Collaborate with internal and external peers within the work unit to identify, discuss, and complete requests

Experience: 1+ years of experience

  • As a key contributor to the business unit, this job has the authority to recommend changes to business processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Contribute to CIBCs compliance with internal and legislative requirements governing the documentation and information needed to support the operation of client accounts and other cash management products
  • Support the service experience of Business Banking clients globally

Who You Are (skills/qualifications):

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant work experience may be considered
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in operations, document processing, business support, financial services, or a related field
  • Understanding of basic corporate entity structures and experience working with registered business entities
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess information, generate solutions, and make timely decisions during indexing activities
  • Ability to interpret documents accurately and provide prompt, independent, and reliable responses

  • Working knowledge of basic corporate entity structures and registered business entities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound, timely decisions during indexing activities
  • Ability to interpret documents accurately and respond independently with speed and precision
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize work to ensure timely completion of assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain policies and procedures
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal partners, including over the phone.
