Chartered Accountant- Audit & Assurance

About the Role

Fintaco Global is looking for a Chartered Accountant to join our Audit & Assurance team in Bangalore. The role involves handling audit assignments, reviewing financial information, coordinating with clients and ensuring timely and high-quality completion of engagements.

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting and auditing fundamentals, attention to detail and the ability to take ownership of assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit and assurance assignments from start to completion.
\n
• Review financial statements, books of accounts, ledgers and supporting documents.
\n
• Perform audit procedures, analytical reviews and substantive testing.
\n
• Identify accounting discrepancies, control gaps and areas requiring attention.
\n
• Prepare and review audit working papers and documentation.
\n
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
\n
• Coordinate with clients to obtain required information and clarifications.
\n
• Discuss audit observations and findings with clients and the internal team.
\n
• Assist in preparation of audit reports and management reports.
\n
• Manage multiple assignments and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
\n
• Review work performed by junior team members and provide guidance wherever required.
\n
• Coordinate with senior team members/Partners on significant audit matters.
\n
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure quality standards across assignments.
\n

Requirements

\n
• Qualified Chartered Accountant.
\n
• 3–5 years of post-qualification experience; strong CA Articleship experience will be considered.
\n
• Strong understanding of accounting and auditing concepts.
\n
• Good knowledge of financial statements and audit procedures.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Good command of MS Excel and accounting software.
\n
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and ownership of work.
\n
