Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Yangon (Relocation + Expat package provided)

A leading financial services group is seeking a highly execution-oriented Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive large-scale technology transformation, engineering modernization, and digital delivery across multiple financial services entities.
This role is ideal for a hands-on technology leader with strong experience across banking, fintech, cloud modernization, DevSecOps, platform engineering, and large-scale transformation execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the enterprise technology transformation roadmap
- Lead digital banking, platform modernization, and cloud migration initiatives
- Drive engineering excellence across DevSecOps, CI/CD, SRE, automation, and AI-assisted delivery
- Manage large engineering and delivery teams across multiple squads
- Oversee technology vendors, implementation partners, and delivery governance
- Ensure seamless transition of projects into stable production environments
- Collaborate closely with business leadership, architecture, operations, and product teams
- Drive operational scalability, resilience, security, and modernization across platforms
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in technology leadership within banking, fintech, or regulated industries
- Strong experience across:
- Digital banking
- Cloud & infrastructure modernization
- Platform engineering
- API ecosystems
- DevSecOps & CI/CD
- Enterprise transformation
- Hands-on engineering and delivery leadership background
- Experience managing large engineering organizations and transformation programs
- Strong stakeholder management and execution capability
- Exposure to AI-enabled engineering and automation initiatives preferred
Preferred Background
- Banking, payments, digital banking, fintech, or financial services experience
- Experience operating in emerging or fast-growth markets is advantageous
- Strong transformation, modernization, and execution mindset
