Job Title: Workday Integration Consultant

Location: Bangalore

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience: 4–10 years (Flexible based on requirement)


About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Workday Integration Consultant with strong expertise in Payroll processes, PECI (Payroll Effective Change Interface), and Workday Studio. The ideal candidate will serve as the subject matter expert for German statutory, compliance, and payroll-related integrations while designing and delivering high-quality Workday integration solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations using:
  • Workday Studio
  • PECI (Payroll Effective Change Interface)
  • Core Connectors
  • EIBs (Inbound/Outbound)
  • Work closely with Payroll, HR, and Technical teams to ensure end-to-end delivery of German payroll integrations and data flows.
  • Ensure all payroll-relevant data is transmitted accurately to payroll providers (e.g., ADP, SD Worx, Datev, etc.).
  • Configure and maintain country specific payroll compliance requirements, statutory reports, and data interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolution.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specs and integration designs.
  • Support UAT, regression testing, and technical validation for German payroll cycles.
  • Maintain documentation, mapping guidelines, and integration governance for all German payroll interfaces.
  • Partner with global and regional teams to support enhancements, new releases, or system upgrades.


Required Qualifications

  • 3–8 years of hands-on Workday Integration experience.
  • Strong expertise in:
  • PECI (Payroll Effective Change Interface)
  • Workday Studio
  • Core Connectors
  • Workday EIBs
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, data requirements, statutory rules, and compliance needs.
  • Experience working with third‑party German payroll vendors.
  • Ability to analyze and transform complex HR/Payroll data.
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and documentation skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday Integration Certification (Studio / Core Connectors).
  • Experience with PICOF (Payroll Interface Change Object File).
  • Understanding of Workday HCM foundational concepts (Workers, Positions, Time Tracking, Absence).
  • Prior experience in Europe payroll transformation or multi-country payroll projects.
  • German language familiarity (nice to have, not mandatory).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • High attention to detail and a solution‑oriented mindset.
