🚨 Hiring: Data Extraction Engineer | Python | Web Scraping | Data Engineering
We’re looking for strong Data Extraction Engineers with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in website data extraction, web scraping, parsing, and Python-based data engineering.
The role involves building and maintaining Web Robots / Web Spiders that crawl websites and extract data from HTML, plain text, PDFs, Excel, and other structured/unstructured formats.
What you’ll work on:
• Reverse-engineering websites, their technology, and data retrieval mechanisms
• Building custom web robots and scraping/parsing systems from scratch
• Extracting and transforming raw web data into structured datasets
• Working with HTML, CSS, XML, JSON and JavaScript
• Handling changes in website layouts and dynamics to ensure reliable extraction
• Building monitoring systems for data integrity, quality and availability
• Supporting high-availability data extraction with minimal data loss
• Storing extracted data in appropriate databases
• Building scalable, high-performance data extraction systems
• Automating end-to-end ETL/data pipelines
• Creating automated/custom reports from extracted data

What we’re looking for:
• 1–3 years of relevant website data extraction/web scraping experience
• Strong Python programming skills
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge
• Hands-on ETL experience
• Strong understanding of HTTP requests/responses and web technologies
• Experience using Chrome debugging tools to reverse-engineer website behaviour
• Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms
• BCA/MCA/BS/MS or equivalent academic background with strong practical application of technical concepts
