Job Description
Director – Global GCC Sales
Location: India
Company: Linx
Function: Global Capability Centers (GCC) / Enterprise Sales
Experience: 10+ years
Employment: Full-time
About the Opportunity
Where should a company build its next 50, 200 or 500-person team?
India may be the right answer.
But depending on the capability, talent requirements, time zone and economics, the answer could be the Philippines, Vietnam, Colombia, Mexico, South Africa, Poland — or somewhere else entirely.
At Linx, we help companies make that decision and then help them execute it.
We are looking for a Director – Global GCC Sales based in India to help build and scale our Global Capability Center business.
This is not a traditional staffing sales position, and it is not an account-management role.
We are looking for a hunter who can originate, develop and close significant GCC opportunities.
What We Do
Linx helps organizations build and operate global teams through an integrated model that can include:
* GCC strategy and location assessment
* Talent-market and workforce planning
* Talent Acquisition and RPO
* Employer of Record (EOR)
* Global Payroll
* HR and workforce operations
* Entity establishment and transition
* Employment and compliance infrastructure
* Onboarding and ongoing workforce management
* Multi-country and distributed GCC models
This gives our clients flexibility.
A company can start with 10 employees through EOR, scale to 50 or 100, establish its own entity when the time is right, and continue growing into a substantial GCC — without rebuilding its workforce infrastructure at every stage.
Our goal isn’t to sell a particular country.
Our goal is to help companies determine where in the world they should build — and then help them build it.
The Role
You will own the development of new GCC business for Linx.
Your job begins before an RFP exists.
You will identify companies considering global expansion, new capability centers, captive operations, offshore or nearshore teams, and major international workforce initiatives.
You’ll develop executive relationships, uncover opportunities, shape solutions and lead the commercial process through close.
What You’ll Do
Originate GCC opportunities
Build a high-quality enterprise pipeline through your existing network, targeted account development, executive outreach, partnerships, industry relationships and events.
Sell to senior decision-makers
Build relationships with CEOs, CFOs, CHROs, COOs, CTOs, transformation leaders, procurement teams and other executives responsible for global workforce and location decisions.
Lead strategic GCC conversations
Understand what a client is trying to accomplish — capabilities, headcount, skills, economics, time zones, growth expectations and operating requirements — before recommending a solution.
Develop global solutions
Work with Linx teams to evaluate markets based on talent availability, compensation, scalability, employment infrastructure, compliance and overall economics.
Bring multiple capabilities together
Create solutions that may combine GCC strategy, Talent Acquisition/RPO, EOR, payroll, entity establishment and ongoing workforce operations.
Own complex enterprise sales cycles
Lead opportunities from initial conversation through discovery, solution design, proposal, negotiation, procurement and close.
Expand relationships
A 25-person initial engagement could become a 250-person GCC.
You’ll be expected to identify and develop those opportunities over time.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone with 10+ years of enterprise business development or solution-sales experience, ideally within one or more of the following:
* Global Capability Centers (GCC/GIC)
* Captive center establishment
* IT services
* BPO / Business Process Services
* RPO / Talent Solutions
* Managed services
* Workforce transformation
* Global expansion or market-entry solutions
You should bring:
* A demonstrated record of personally originating enterprise opportunities
* Experience closing complex, high-value B2B engagements
* Strong executive relationships and the ability to create new ones
* Understanding of GCC and global workforce operating models
* Experience engaging multinational and/or US-headquartered organizations
* Strong commercial, solutioning and negotiation skills
* Confidence working with C-suite and senior enterprise stakeholders
* The ability to operate independently and help build a business, not simply inherit one
* Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
* Comfort working across global time zones and traveling when required
We’re Going to Ask About What You Personally Built
The company names on your résumé matter less to us than what you personally created while you were there.
During the interview process, expect us to ask:
Which enterprise opportunities did you personally originate?
Who was the buyer?
How did you get into the account?
What problem were they trying to solve?
What was the initial scope and headcount?
What did you personally sell?
How long was the sales cycle?
What did the engagement ultimately grow into?
We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate a repeatable ability to turn relationships and market opportunities into meaningful business.
How Success Will Be Measured
We care about outcomes.
Success in this role will be measured across:
Qualified GCC Pipeline → New Enterprise Logos → GCCs Launched → Deployed Headcount → Revenue & Gross Profit → Account Expansion
We understand that strategic GCC opportunities can have complex sales cycles.
We therefore care about both the quality of the pipeline you’re building and the business ultimately converted from it.
Why Linx
The traditional GCC journey can involve multiple partners for recruiting, employment, payroll, compliance, entity setup and workforce operations.
We’re building a different model.
Linx can support a company from its first employee in a new country through the creation and scaling of a substantial global capability center.
And because our model is global, the conversation doesn’t have to begin with:
“Which country have you chosen?”
It can begin with:
“What are you trying to build?”
That’s the conversation we want this person to lead.
A Different First Step
We believe people selling the future of global work should also experience how technology is changing the way companies hire.
Shortlisted candidates will begin the process with a brief Lexy AI interview, using the AI recruiting technology we’re building at Linx.
It isn’t designed to replace human interaction.
It’s the beginning of the conversation.
Candidates who progress will then meet directly with Linx leadership for deeper discussions around their experience, relationships, commercial track record and vision for growing our Global GCC business.
Interested?
If you’ve personally built enterprise relationships, originated significant GCC or workforce opportunities, and want the opportunity to help build a global GCC business from the ground up, we’d like to hear from you.
