Title: Director International Relations

Reports to: The Registrar, REVA University

Department: International Relations Office

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka


Job Summary

The Director – International Relations will lead the University’s internationalization initiatives, develop global partnerships, and strengthen collaborations with international universities, institutions, and industry.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • PhD. (preferred), Master's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute
  • Core understanding of Academics and collaboration with abroad University’s
  • Preference would be given to candidate having at least 10 years of experience in a similar profile with a reputed University / Higher Educational Institution


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the University’s international relations strategy and annual action plans.
  • Work with different departments to develop and frame their international agenda.
  • Establish and manage partnerships with foreign universities, institutions, professional bodies.
  • Facilitate student and faculty exchange, international collaborative programmes, internships, immersion programmes, and international exposure opportunities.
  • Coordinate MoUs, joint academic initiatives, international conferences, and delegations.
  • To liaise with partner universities in different countries and to identify and build opportunities for partnership activities (Joint research / Publications / Projects, Etc.,).
  • Promote international student recruitment and support international students.
  • Identify opportunities for joint degrees, twinning programmes, dual-degree programmes, and international certifications.
  • To organize high-profile incoming and outgoing visits linked to the development and maintenance of international partnerships, inviting eminent speakers for knowledge sharing and attending international exhibitions, educational fairs as university representative.
  • Represent the University in international forums and institutional engagements.
  • Monitor international partnerships and prepare reports on global engagement initiatives.
