Editor (Fixed-Term Contract - APAC Hours)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Editor to join our Editorial, Design and Publishing team on a fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for editing, formatting, and publishing a range of research and analytical content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to editorial standards. You will collaborate with a globally distributed team and support publication activities during APAC business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit content as directed by team leads and regional managers.
\n
• Review copy for style, branding consistency, grammar, and formatting across documents, charts, tables, and graphics.
\n
• Make updates and amendments using content management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
\n
• Edit, format, and publish reports to ensure clarity, consistency, and editorial excellence.
\n
• Ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
\n
• Provide editorial support to global colleagues during public holidays, annual leave, wellbeing days, or other absences.
\n
• Work closely with international teams in a virtual and collaborative environment.
\n

Requirements

\n
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Publishing, English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
\n
• Minimum 1 year of professional editing or sub-editing experience.
\n
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
\n
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro.
\n
• Familiarity with content management systems; experience with publishing platforms is advantageous.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high editorial standards.
\n
