Primary Skills
Elasticsearch Strong hands-on experience in designing indices, mappings, analysers, and writing complex search queries Query DSL, aggregations, relevance tuning.
Node.js Solid experience building RESTful APIs, backend services, and integrating with Elasticsearch and other data sources.
Elastic Cloud Practical experience deploying, configuring, scaling, and monitoring Elasticsearch clusters on Elastic Cloud or similar managed hosting.
Secondary Skills
Working knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Databricks schema design, queries, indexing, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with front-end technologies e.g., React, Angular, or Vue is a plus for true full stack ownership.
Understanding of Logstash Beats Kibana or the broader ELK Elastic Stack ecosystem.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization deployment tools.
Exposure to version control Git and CICD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js. Architect, implement, and optimize Elasticsearch indices and queries for high-performance search and analytics.
Deploy, configure, and manage Elasticsearch clusters on Elastic Cloud, ensuring high availability and performance.
Integrate Elasticsearch with application databases and backend services.
Collaborate with front-end developers to deliver end-to-end features. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize search performance, indexing pipelines, and cluster health.
