Candidate Profile

• Candidates must be from GCCs (Global Capability Centers) only
• Strong 80% Hands-on Technical / 20% Team Management profile
• Experience managing a team of approximately 6 engineers
• Strong Full Stack Development experience
• Active coding and technical leadership experience
• Experience in architecture, design reviews, production support, and stakeholder management

Role:

Seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager with strong Full Stack development expertise and a passion for building secure, scalable, and business-critical applications. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and hands-on engineering responsibilities. He/ She will foster a high-performing engineering culture, drive technical excellence, promote the responsible use of AI-assisted development tools, and ensure the delivery of secure, accessible, and high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and hands-on contribution across the full software development lifecycle.
• Partner with Product Managers, Architects, Security, and Business stakeholders to define and deliver technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Support production applications, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining appropriate governance, security, and code quality standards.
• Provide leadership and support during critical production incidents, including availability outside core business hours when required.

Required Technical Skills

• Java Development: Spring Boot
• Frontend Development: Angular, TypeScript
• API Development & Management: Apigee or similar API Gateway platforms
• Database Technologies: Oracle, PostgreSQL
• Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda/Lambda@Edge, EFS, CloudWatch, CodePipeline, etc.)
• Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
• CI/CD: Harness, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
• Monitoring & Observability: New Relic, Splunk, or similar tools
• Application Security: Qualys, Contrast, Twistlock/Prisma Cloud, or similar security platforms
