Job Description
Role: Guidewire Policy center- Developer
Experience: 4 to 6 years
Location: Bangalore, Pune, Bhubaneswar, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chennai
- Minimum 3+ years experience in Configuration/integration and Guidewire Implementations in Policy Center
- 5+ years of experience in Java/J2ee (EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Web Services, JMS, JPA).
- Able to configure/Integrate the applications using XML and GOSU
- Insurance Knowledge specifically Personal Lines Claims and Commercial Claims
- Relational Database and Data Modeling experience
- Cloud certified(atleast Associate certification)
- Strong Java server-side programming experience with a solid understanding of object-oriented concepts
- Experience with Scrum or other Agile development methodologies
- Experience with messaging, Webservices and database connectivity
- Strong oral and written communication skills
The primary functions of this role consist of:
- Responsible for designing and implementing Configuration/integration points between external applications/services and the Guidewire® platforms
- Partner with client business teams to understand business objectives and configuration/integration requirements
- Produce technical design documents for configuration/integration points
- Develop custom configuration/integration points to connect Guidewire applications with other internal and external systems
