About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Sales (Cars) to lead the sales function for a reputed automobile dealership. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing dealership sales operations, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall car sales operations and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize market share and profitability.
• Manage, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of the sales team.
• Drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and conversion initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, corporate clients, and channel partners.
• Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure effective showroom management and adherence to dealership standards.
• Collaborate with finance, insurance, marketing, and service teams to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management for optimal stock planning.
• Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and business performance reviews.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduate/Post Graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in automobile sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of passenger vehicle sales and dealership operations.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
• Customer-centric approach with strong business acumen.
• Experience in handling large sales teams and multi-channel sales operations will be preferred.
