Role Description Junior Architects at GKDesigns support the design and execution of architectural and interior projects across residential, commercial, and institutional sectors. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves preparing conceptual and detailed drawings, assisting in design presentations, and coordinating with senior architects and designers. Daily responsibilities include developing design solutions, producing CAD and 3D models, supporting site visits and measurements, and assisting in documentation for approvals and project tracking. Junior Architects collaborate with project teams, consultants, and vendors to help ensure design intent, quality, and timelines are met. The role also includes maintaining organized project files and actively contributing ideas to design discussions.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into functional and aesthetic spaces.
- Proficiency in relevant design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp/Enscape/D5, Adobe Suite or similar visualization tools).
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institution.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to follow design guidelines and building codes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and interact professionally with clients and consultants.
- Interest in sustainable, context-sensitive design and openness to learning vernacular and contemporary design approaches.
