Function: Sales & Key Account Management

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager for a leading global Food Ingredients organization.

The role will be responsible for building and expanding the Ice Cream business across South India, with a strong focus on Key Account Management, new business development and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow strategic customer accounts across Bakery, Dairy (Ice Cream) & Confectionery.
\n
• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities across South India.
\n
• Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation to commercial closure.
\n
• Build strong relationships with key customers and understand their business/application requirements.
\n
• Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions and customer development plans.
\n
• Work closely with R&D, Technical Services, Product Development, Marketing and Supply Chain teams.
\n
• Identify opportunities for new product development, applications and market expansion.
\n
• Drive account growth, profitability and long-term customer relationships.
\n

What We’re Looking For

\n
\n
• 8+ years of experience in Food Industry Sales, preferably in Food Ingredients.
\n
• Strong experience handling Ice Cream and Bakery accounts in South India.
\n
• Strong understanding of the Food Ingredients market and customer applications.
\n
• Proven hunter / business development mindset with experience in opening new accounts.
\n
• Strong Key Account Management and relationship-building skills.
\n
• Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets.
\n
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
\n
• Willingness to travel extensively across South India.
\n
\n

Preferred Customer Exposure

\n

Candidates who have handled relationships with accounts such as:

\n

Hatsun | Heritage | Milky Mist | Ideal | Hangyo | KMF | Lazza

\n

and have a strong understanding of the South Indian Ice Cream industry would be particularly relevant.
