Key Responsibilities

• Sales and Revenue Management
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the Modern Trade channel.
• Develop and execute strategies to drive volume, market share, and profitability in

modern trade outlets.

• Monitor and analyze sales performance and implement corrective measures to

bridge gaps.

• Key Account Management
• Build and maintain relationships with key modern trade accounts in the assigned

territory.

• Negotiate and execute agreements, promotions, and displays with key accounts.
• Ensure seamless operations with modern trade chains, including stock availability

and merchandising.

• Team Management and Coordination
• Lead and guide a team of Sales Officers and Merchandisers to execute plans

effectively.

• Train and develop the team to improve productivity and sales execution.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement trade marketing activities.
• Distributor and Supply Chain Management
• Ensure proper supply chain management to avoid stock-outs at customer points.
• Monitor distributor performance and ensure adherence to company policies and

procedures.

• Regularly review inventory levels and ensure optimal stocking at modern trade

outlets.

• Market Insights and Reporting

• Conduct regular market visits to ensure proper execution of sales and promotional

activities.

• Gather and analyze competitor activity and consumer trends in the modern trade

segment.

• Prepare and share sales reports, forecasts, and market insights with the

management team.

• Compliance and Process Adherence
• Ensure adherence to company policies, trade practices, and ethical standards in all

business dealings.

• Maintain proper documentation of sales agreements and other essential records.
