Job Title: L2 Network Engineer

Location: 400059, Andheri, Mumbai, India (Hybrid - 3 to 4 days a week from office)

Project Duration: 12 Months with a possibility for an extension

Note: Need Senior candidates only, 12+ years and someone who worked in a large global telecom operators like NTT, etc. If the candidate do not have both, they will not be shortlisted.

Job Description:

Client's global Digital & IT team needs a Senior Level 2 Network Engineer based in India to operate and support the Group’s WAN network (5,000+ sites worldwide).

The person will be autonomous in India, working with global telecom operators (likely NTT) and international teams, ensuring stable, secure WAN connectivity.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 12+ years in Network Engineering
\n
• Strong WAN operations experience in large enterprises or telecom providers
\n
• Solid Level 2 support background (incidents, problems)
\n
• Expert Cisco router skills (config, troubleshooting)
\n
• Strong WAN infrastructure knowledge (MPLS, VPN, IPSec)
\n
• L2 support for WAN access incidents/problems
\n
• Daily management of WAN / global telecom operator (e.g. NTT)
\n
• Support Backbone and network monitoring
\n
• Manage WAN changes and new site deployments
\n
• Ensure network compliance & security
\n

Nice-to-have

\n
• Experience with global operators (Orange, Bouygues, NTT)
\n
• Track record in process improvement
\n
• Background in large industrial / global corporate environments
\n
• Knowledge of network compliance frameworks and permanent controls
\n
• Experience in a Network Control Center (NCC) or similar ops center
