Job Requirements*

• Years of experience on SQL Administration (preferably MCDBA)
• Strong in RDBMS concepts
• Installing SQL server and client software, creating, upgrading.
• Experience in SQL 2005, 2008, 2012, 2014
• Experience in Tablespace, Schemas, Application/ DB Tuning & Performance Monitoring.
• Patching databases in Windows environments.
• Experience in Upgrade and Migration of SQL database
• Performance Tuning of SQL databases
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Planning, scheduling and taking SQL backups.
• Hands on experience in database backups and Recovery
• Export/Import, Cold, Hot backups & DR solutions.
• Successfully implemented physical standby database using SQL Data replication and log shipping
• High availability configuration, AlwaysOn, Log shipping
• Installation, Configuration and deployment of SQL database
• Capacity Management
• Database security
• Co-ordination with multiple stake holders / Third party Vendors for break-fix.
• Flexibility to work in shifts for 24x7 support
• Must be able to lead the critical outage calls
• Create the Standard Operating Procedure and update the knowledge database documentation whenever required
• Participate in weekly/ monthly/ customer meeting and provide activities report.
• Experience in Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g & 12c Tablespace, Schemas, Application/ DB Tuning & Performance Monitoring.

Patching databases in UNIX (Solaris, HP-UX & AIX), Linux and Windows environments.>
