Educational Qualifications:
- Ph.D. OR M.Tech with equivalent expertise in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Mechatronics, Computer Science or related field
- Specialization in AI/ML, Robotics, Autonomous Systems, or Computer Vision
Work Experience:
- 10-15 years of progressive experience in robotics/AI systems development
- Hands-on experience with NVIDIA hardware-software ecosystem
- Proven track record in developing humanoid/quadruped/COBOT systems
- Experience leading large-scale robotics projects from concept to deployment
- Academic research experience with publications in reputable conferences/journals
Technical Competencies:
- Expert-level proficiency with NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim, Jetson platforms
- Advanced skills in ROS/ROS2, C++, Python, OpenCV, TensorFlow/PyTorch
- Strong understanding of robotic perception, planning, and control systems
- Experience with sensor integration (LiDAR, cameras, IMU) and embedded systems
- Knowledge of digital twins, simulation environments, and virtual testing

- Develop comprehensive digital twin ecosystems using NVIDIA Omniverse and OpenUSD
- Create sim-to-real workflows for seamless virtual-to-physical robotic deployment
- Lead technical strategy for DSU's Center of Excellence in AI & Robotics
- NVIDIA Ecosystem Implementation
- Implement and optimize NVIDIA hardware-software stack (Jetson platforms, DGX systems, Omniverse)
- Develop robotic applications using NVIDIA Isaac ROS for perception, navigation, and manipulation
- Utilize NVIDIA GR00T foundation models for advanced humanoid behaviors
- Build simulation environments with NVIDIA Isaac Sim for virtual training and validation
Robotics Platform Expertise
- Develop humanoid robotic systems with locomotion, balance control, and manipulation capabilities
- Design quadruped robotic platforms for inspection, logistics, and navigation in challenging terrains
- Implement collaborative robots (COBOTs) with advanced safety systems and human-robot interaction
- Architect autonomous systems with real-time perception, planning, and control capabilities
Research & Innovation Leadership
- Lead cutting-edge research in embodied AI, reinforcement learning, and robotic perception
- Secure research grants and establish industry-academia collaborations
- Publish high-impact research papers in top-tier robotics conferences
- Mentor PhD students and research teams in advanced robotics technologies
