What Youll Be Doing (position summary):
The Learning Advisor, Operations Transition India serves as a facilitative role at CIBC India, guiding and enabling cross-functional teams through operational transitions. This position advances, manages, and continuously improves learning initiatives within the Sunrise Program for technology transition , ensuring alignment with organizational goals and evolving business needs. The consultant fosters a culture of learning, adaptability, and innovation by facilitating collaboration, knowledge sharing, and engagement across the organization, especially during Technology transitions.

How Youll Succeed (responsibilities):
- End-to-end management of learning and development initiatives related to technology transitions
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and meetings to support onboarding, cross-training, and career development for employees
- Guide cross-functional teams in identifying learning needs, designing solutions, and adopting new processes and technologies
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of Learning Maps for onboarding, cross-training, and career development
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation within learning processes, leveraging technology to enhance scalability and efficiency
- Create and curate customized learning content for specialized business needs, including AI and automation training
- Develop and deliver communications to drive adoption, awareness, and engagement among employees and leaders
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, business leaders, and subject matter experts to ensure learning solutions are relevant, effective, and measurable
- Utilize data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor program effectiveness and report outcomes to stakeholders
- Establish and maintain strong business partner relationships with key Line of Business (LOB) leaders and Subject Matter Experts
- Participate in annual planning processes to identify key areas of growth and maintenance strategy, incorporating capacity and costs
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
- Collaborate closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, and operational teams to design and implement effective learning solutions during transitions
- Build strong partnerships across departments (e.g., HR, IT, Operations, Business Lines) to ensure learning and development initiatives are aligned with organizational priorities and operational requirements
- Facilitate communication and knowledge-sharing between teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Engage regularly with stakeholders to gather feedback, monitor program effectiveness, and drive adoption of learning initiatives
- Support cross-functional project teams by providing expertise in learning strategies, change management, and process optimization during transitions

JOB DIMENSIONS:
- Scope of responsibility includes the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning programs supporting operational transitions across multiple business units
- Manages multiple concurrent learning initiatives, projects, and stakeholder relationships, ensuring timely and effective implementation
- Influences and supports a diverse employee base, including new hires, cross-functional teams, and leaders across the organization
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to learning effectiveness, adoption, and business impact
- Acts as a facilitator and trusted advisor to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring successful adoption and integration of learning solutions during transition
- Contributes to annual planning, capacity assessment, and strategic execution for learning and development within the Infrastructure and Modernization Development Program
Experience: 7+ years of experience
Who You Are (skills/qualifications):
- Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in program management, learning & development, operations transition, or related areas
- Proficiency in business reporting tools and platforms (e.g., Workday, CIBC Today, Workplace)
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to deliver clear presentations and facilitate discussions
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering a continuous improvement culture
- Leadership and team management capabilities, with experience guiding cross-functional teams
- Expertise in learning management and development of learning strategies
- Proven program management and relationship management skills
- Ability to take initiative and proactively address challenges
- Skilled in writing technical documents and creating impactful learning content
