Job Description
Must-Have
- 12+ years of IT experience
- 10+ years of experience with IBM Mainframe technologies such as COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2 and VSAM
- Experience with assessment of mainframe applications and databases to formulate plans for migrating it to cloud.
- Well versed with different tools and methodologies used to migrate mainframe workloads.
- Broad understanding and knowledge across multiple technical domains including Front-end Architecture, Services Architecture, Integration/Middleware Architecture, Security Architecture, Data Architecture etc.
Good-to-Have
- Experience with Re-Platform Portability Assessment using Rocket Enterprise Analyzer
- Experience with architecting & delivering end-to-end solutions using Rocket Software (erstwhile known as Micro Focus)
- Experience in: Microservices, Containerization and APIfication
- 5+ years of experience with any other RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle or PostgreSQL)
- Experience in migrating IBM DB2 zOS data to other Relational DB like SQL Server, Oracle or PostgreSQL
- Broad understanding and knowledge across multiple DB domains including Data Modeling, Data Architecture, Integration/Middleware Architecture, Data Security etc.
- Knowledge about CDC concepts and experience with CDC implementations
