Manager BIS & Product Compliance

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end to end BIS compliance and product certification activities.
• Own product registration, testing, certification, BIS marking, renewal and surveillance requirements.
• Drive documentation, testing and final registration for BIS certification.
• Coordinate with BIS authorities, testing laboratories, certification agencies and relevant government departments.
• Manage DPIIT-related certification and compliance requirements.
• Monitor changes in GoI regulations and assess their impact on company products.
• Ensure compliance at warehouse and import level as per applicable GoI rules.
• Maintain product compliance trackers, certificates, test reports and regulatory documentation.
• Manage regulatory audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Coordinate with business, product, supply chain, service and other internal stakeholders.
• Guide new product launches/configurations from a regulatory compliance perspective.
• Support E-waste and Plastic Waste/EPR compliance wherever applicable.
• Liaise with industry associations and relevant government bodies.
• Identify compliance risks and proactively recommend corrective/preventive actions.
• Representing BIN at various Industry Association (CII/FICCI/MAIT, etc).
