Power BI Developer

Role & responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
• Design and implement data models and data warehouses using Azure services such as Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure the data infrastructure supports the Power BI reporting and analytics needs.
• Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for Power BI and Azure data services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Power BI reports and data sources.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Power BI development and Azure data services.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI report development, data modeling, and DAX.
• Experience with Azure data services such as Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL and basic Python.
• Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Azure certifications, such as Azure Data Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect, are a plus.
