Applications are invited from accomplished academic leaders for the position of Principal to lead approximately 5,000 students and strengthen academics, research, sponsored projects, industry collaboration, student employability, accreditation, NIRF performance, and institutional governance.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
• B.Tech./B.E. from an IIT, NIT, reputed Government Engineering College or recognized university
• Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology
• Minimum 20 peer-reviewed publications, preferably indexed in Scopus/Web of Science
• Senior-level experience as Professor, HOD, Dean, Principal, or equivalent
• Must have secured at least one sponsored research project of ₹50 lakh or more as Principal Investigator (PI) from AICTE, UGC, ANRF/SERB, DST, DBT, MeitY, MoE, CSIR, DRDO, ISRO, a PSU, industry, or any other recognized funding organization
• Proven experience in academic administration, research leadership, accreditation, regulatory compliance, and management of large faculty and student teams
• Must fulfill applicable AICTE, UGC, BPUT and State Government norms
