Professor of Computer Science

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Lead and contribute to cutting-edge research in Computer Science and related areas.
• Publish at least 12 research papers in reputed national/international journals and conferences, preferably indexed in Scopus/Web of Science.
• Guide Ph.D. scholars and supervise research projects.
• Develop research proposals and secure funded research projects/grants.
• Contribute to curriculum development, academic administration, and departmental initiatives.
• Build industry collaborations and promote interdisciplinary research.

Eligibility & Experience

• Ph.D. in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant academic/research experience, as per applicable norms.
• Strong research profile with a good number of quality publications in reputed peer-reviewed, Scopus/WoS-indexed journals/conferences.
• Demonstrated experience in Ph.D. supervision, research projects, and academic leadership.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and leadership skills.

Preferred: Experience in obtaining research grants, patents, consultancy, industry collaboration, and academic leadership.
