Project Manager
Installations & Project Execution | Agriplast Protected Cultivation
Location: Bangalore (on-site), with regular travel to project sites across India and international markets
Reporting To: Office Leadership
About Us
Agriplast Protected Cultivation is a greenhouse manufacturing company in India that builds large-scale commercial greenhouse farms. Our range consists of Polyhouse, Greenhouse, Net Houses and Poly tunnels.
Role Overview
Agriplast is scaling rapidly across domestic and international markets and is building out a strong project execution function to match. We are looking for a seasoned project leader to own the complete execution agenda from order handover and site mobilization through installation, commissioning, and client sign-off across all project sites.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can build process and drive on-ground execution simultaneously in a fast-growing, project- and manufacturing-driven business. The ideal candidate will bring a superior strategic outlook and “get things done” leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Strategy & Planning
• Develop and execute the overall project execution strategy for domestic and international sites.
• Build detailed project plans, timelines, and resource/manpower deployment plans for each site.
2. Installation & Project Execution
• Own end-to-end installation and commissioning of Polyhouses, Greenhouses, Net Houses and Poly tunnels at client sites.
• Ensure timely closure and handover of all critical and strategic projects within scope, budget and quality.
3. Vendor, Contractor & Site Team Management
• Build and manage a reliable network of installation contractors, civil teams, and site supervisors/engineers across regions.
• Ensure timely mobilization of manpower, material, and equipment to project sites.
4. Quality, Safety & Standards
• Establish and enforce quality control checkpoints and site safety protocols across all projects.
• Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure adherence to engineering, design and safety standards.
5. Client & Stakeholder Management
• Act as the primary escalation point for clients during execution, managing expectations and resolving on-site issues.
• Coordinate closely with design, procurement, manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure seamless handoffs from order to site.
6. Cost, Budget & Resource Control
• Monitor project costs against budget, control overruns, and protect project-level profitability.
• Track material consumption, minimize wastage, and optimize deployment of manpower and equipment across sites.
7. Project Analytics, Systems & Reporting
• Implement project management systems, dashboards and site-tracking tools.
• Track and report the Project Execution scorecard to leadership across the following KPIs:
• Project Completion Rate (On-Time)
• Installation Cycle Time (Order to Handover)
• Cost Variance / Budget Adherence
• Client Satisfaction / Handover Score
• Site Safety Incident Rate
• Quality Rework Rate
• Resource & Equipment Utilization Rate
• Vendor/Contractor Performance Score
What We’re Looking For
• Experience: 12+ years in project execution/installation management, including substantial time in a senior/leadership role, ideally in greenhouse, structural steel, construction, infrastructure or EPC project execution.
• Execution Track Record: Proven track record delivering large-scale, multi-site installation/construction projects on time, on budget and to quality standards.
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Strong network and hands-on experience managing multi-site contractor, civil and labour teams.
• Quality & Safety: Strong working knowledge of quality control, site safety compliance, and engineering/installation standards.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Hands-on experience managing client relationships and expectations through project execution and handover.
• Systems & Analytics: Comfortable implementing and running project management tools, dashboards and execution analytics.
• Communication & Leadership: Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills, with a strategic outlook and strong execution.
• Self-Starter: Thrives in a dynamic “build-from-scratch” environment, comfortable with extensive travel, and takes ownership end-to-end.
