About the Role
Must-have experience Project management in Software Development Experience working on software platforms or scientific applications Strong understanding of drug-discovery workflows Experience coordinating Software Developers, Data Scientists, Computational Biologists/Chemists and Scientists Strong backend/software project understanding Ability to convert scientific requirements → technical requirements → development tasks Experience managing timelines, dependencies, risks, releases and stakeholders Drug Discovery knowledge Prefer candidates who understand at least some of modern drug-discovery platforms increasingly combine computational chemistry, AI/ML, biological data and software workflows—for example, Schrödinger's LiveDesign integrates computational modeling, experimental data and collaboration, while newer platforms are combining docking, molecular dynamics and AI workflows.
