Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Position : Quality Assurance Automation Engineer ( MQAE )

Experience :3Years to 5.5Years

Key Responsibilities

• Build and automate comprehensive API tests covering functional behavior, data contracts, negative scenarios, error handling, authentication, integrations, and performance.
• Perform SQL-based data validation and reconciliation across source, intermediate, and target systems.
• Validate end-to-end data pipelines to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, uniqueness, integrity, and freshness across processing stages.
• Test data quality and observability capabilities including data profiling, quality rules, metadata and asset validation, schema changes, anomaly detection, pipeline failures, and alerting
• Validate complex and large-scale data migrations, including source-to-target reconciliation, transformation validation, schema validation, record-count verification, and data completeness.
• Design comprehensive test scenarios for complex backend and data-processing logic using appropriate **test design techniques**, including Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Partitioning, Decision Tables, and risk-based testing.
• Investigate data discrepancies and backend failures using SQL, APIs, logs, and other diagnostic information to identify potential root causes.
• Build reusable automation utilities for validating datasets, APIs, database results, and data-processing workflows.
• Partner with developers, data engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders to establish quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback.
• Define and track quality metrics such as automation coverage, defect trends, test effectiveness, data reliability, and regression health.
• Leverage AI-assisted engineering and testing tools to improve test design, automation development, regression testing, and failure analysis.

Note : We are specifically seeking professionals with strong expertise in API Automation Testing, Data Validation, SQL Testing, and End-to-End Data Quality Assurance. Candidates with experience in Manual Testing or UI Automation Testing will not be condidered for the role.
