Job Description
The Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients. The role includes assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and educating patients and their families while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist in diagnostic tests and medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health management.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies.
- Ensure infection prevention and patient safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Supervise nursing assistants and support staff when required.
