Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Technical Consultant with 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, configuring, and supporting SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data modeling, UI modeling, BRF+ workflows, validations, data replication, and MDG consolidation.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Design and implement end-to-end SAP MDG data modeling solutions, including extensions to standard data models and development of custom models.
\n
• Develop and enhance MDG UI models, including extensions and customizations of standard UIs.
\n
• Configure and implement BRF+ workflows for approval and master data governance processes.
\n
• Develop validations and derivations using BRF+, BAdIs (single and cross-entity), and Data Quality Management (DQM).
\n
• Configure and manage data replication using Web Services and IDocs, including activation and filter configuration.
\n
• Implement and support MDG Consolidation processes for master data harmonization, cleansing, and consolidation.
\n
• Collaborate with Functional, BASIS, Security, and Business teams to deliver effective MDG solutions.
\n
• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform performance optimization, and drive continuous improvement of MDG solutions.
\n
• Prepare technical design documents, configuration guides, and support documentation.
\n
• Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to junior consultants.
\n

Mandatory Skills

\n
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP MDG Data Modeling, including standard model extensions and custom models.
\n
• Expertise in MDG UI Modeling and enhancement of standard UIs.
\n
• Hands-on experience with BRF+ Workflow Design and Implementation.
\n
• Strong knowledge of Validations and Derivations using BRF+, BAdIs, and DQM.
\n
• Practical experience in MDG Data Replication using Web Services/IDocs, including activation and filter configuration.
\n
• Solid experience with SAP MDG Consolidation.
\n

Preferred Skills

\n
• Exposure to OData APIs and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
\n
• Understanding of integration with S/4HANA Embedded Analytics and external systems.
\n
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
\n

Qualifications & Experience

\n
• Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
\n
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on SAP MDG experience.
\n
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior consultants.
