SAP TM Functional Consultant

Experience: 10+ years to 20 years

Work location: Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad / Mumbai / Noida / Pune / Gurugram

Job description:

Key Responsibilities

\n
• 3-4 full lifecycle implementation/upgrade project experience to lead SAP TM workstream across full-cycle implementation projects.
\n
• Conduct fit-gap workshops, requirement gathering, and business process design
\n
• Configure key TM functionalities:
\n

o Freight Order Management, Planning & Optimization

o Carrier Selection, Subcontracting, Tendering & Execution.

o Good to have SAP Event Management skills.

o Transportation Costing & Settlement

o Define and implement end-to-end logistics and transportation processes

o Prepare functional specifications (FS) and collaborate on RICEFW developments

o Support testing (SIT/UAT), cutover activities, and hypercare support

o Ensure alignment with global templates and industry best practices

o Manage stakeholder communication and client expectations

o Lead end-to-end SAP TM design and implementation including transportation planning, optimization, freight order/unit management, and shipment execution.

o Drive carrier management, tendering, and freight settlement with accurate cost allocation and enhanced global transportation visibility.

o Architect integrated transportation solutions across EWM, GTS, SD, MM, and external carrier platforms, supporting complex scenarios like STO, supplier, subcontracting, and customer deliveries.
