SECURITY ENGINEER – L2 | INSURANCE SECTOR
Location: Goregaon, Mumbai (Mumbai local candidates only – No outstation candidates)
Work Mode: Work From Office (WFO)
Working: 6 Days a Week
Shift: 24×7 Rotational Shifts
Experience: 5+ Years
Budget: Up to ₹65,000 CTC/month (Take-home: ₹59,000)

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer – L2 with strong hands-on expertise in enterprise security technologies. The ideal candidate should have experience in security incident handling, troubleshooting, monitoring, vulnerability management and security operations.

- WAF: Akamai, Indusface, Barracuda, F5
- EDR: CrowdStrike, SentinelOne
- Email Security: Microsoft Defender for Office 365, DMARC, Phishing
- Vulnerability Assessment / VAPT
- Firewalls & Security Policy Validation
- Proxy: Fortinet, Forcepoint
- VPN / IPSec / SSL VPN
- DLP – Data Loss Prevention
- SASE – Secure Access Service Edge
- SOC / Security Incident Monitoring
- PIM / PAM
- MDM & Antivirus Security
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and troubleshoot escalated L2 security incidents.
- Manage and support WAF, EDR, Firewall, Proxy, VPN and other security solutions.
- Monitor and analyse security alerts and perform incident triage.
- Investigate security incidents and identify root causes.
- Support VAPT/Vulnerability Assessment and remediation activities.
- Follow up on SOC, DLP and VAPT tickets.
- Support security policy implementation, validation and enhancements.
- Participate in security technology upgrades and change management.
- Collaborate with SOC, L1/L3 teams, internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Maintain incident reports, SOPs, technical documentation and knowledge bases.
- Support security audits, compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Recommend improvements to security monitoring, detection and response processes.
Candidate Requirements
- 5+ years of overall experience with relevant L2 Security experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise security technologies.
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Engineering.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willingness to work in a 24×7 rotational shift environment.
- Immediate to 15 days joining.
- Mumbai local candidate only.
- Willing to work 6 days from office.
- Must be comfortable with BGV.
