Senior Backend Developer (Python)

to join our engineering team and work on backend services, APIs, automation, and integration solutions for a large-scale enterprise analytics platform. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in

Python backend development, REST APIs, automation, and AWS services , with the ability to build scalable solutions and support production environments. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

Python-based backend services and applications . Develop and integrate

REST APIs

and backend components. Build and maintain automation workflows and enterprise integration solutions. Own and enhance

automated email/notification workflows

and related backend processes. Develop scheduled and event-driven workflows using

Apache Airflow

and other automation tools. Work with AWS services such as

Lambda, SQS, and S3 . Troubleshoot production issues and implement timely fixes and enhancements. Optimize backend services for performance, reliability, and scalability. Collaborate with data engineers, frontend developers, and other technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities. Key Technologies

5+ years of professional experience

in Python backend development. Strong hands-on expertise in

Python

and backend application development. Strong experience designing and developing

REST APIs . Experience building

automation and integration solutions . Good understanding of

backend architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development . Experience with

Apache Airflow

or similar workflow orchestration tools. Hands-on experience with

AWS Lambda, SQS, and S3 . Experience supporting and troubleshooting

production applications . Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Good communication and collaboration skills. Willingness to work

on-site from Mumbai . Good to Have

Experience working with

large-scale enterprise analytics platforms . Exposure to

Oil & Gas or other enterprise domains . Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing. Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native application development. Experience with automated notification or email delivery systems. What We Offer
