Senior Developer

Stockify
Bangalore

Job Description

Company: Stockify Fintech (stockify.net.in)

What we do: India's pre-IPO/unlisted shares marketplace — live pricing on 100+ companies, investor KYC, demat integrations, blog/content engine, financial calculators, AI chat, multi-city presence (Bengaluru HQ, Mumbai, Gurugram, Dubai)

Location: Bengaluru (JP Nagar)

Experience: 3–6 years

Employment type: Full-time

Package: 8 LPA + Bonus (Salary upto 3 months)

Why this role exists

Stockify runs on a content-heavy, data-heavy, compliance-adjacent platform — live share pricing, 100+ company profile pages, KYC/demat onboarding, calculators, blog/news, and an AI chat widget, all live and public-facing. This isn't a green-field build; it's an existing production platform that needs someone who can maintain it, extend it, and eventually take it into a mobile app — without breaking what's already working for 5,000+ investors.

Core responsibilities

A. Platform development & maintenance

  • Build, maintain, and ship features across stockify.net.in — company/stock pages, price feeds, calculators (SIP, EMI, tax, CAGR, etc.), blog/CMS, investor dashboard
  • Maintain and extend the backend that powers live pricing data — ensure accuracy, handle updates, prevent stale/incorrect prices going live (real money decisions ride on this)
  • Own database schema for companies, pricing history, users, KYC status, transactions

B. Infrastructure & deployment

  • Manage hosting, CI/CD, deployments, rollbacks
  • Monitor uptime and performance — this is a live financial platform; downtime or bad data is a trust and compliance issue, not just an inconvenience
  • Set up logging/alerting so issues are caught before users report them

C. Integrations

  • KYC/AML provider integrations (Digilocker, Aadhaar-based KYC, PAN verification, etc.)
  • Demat account linking (NSDL/CDSL type integrations, based on their footer links)
  • Payment gateway integration for transactions
  • Possibly market data feed integrations for live pricing

D. Mobile app (upcoming/parallel)

  • Since the requirement explicitly asks for someone who has \"developed, deployed and managed both web and app\" — expect this person to either maintain an existing app or build one from scratch (React Native/Flutter likely, for one codebase across iOS/Android, budget permitting)

E. Security & compliance

  • Handle KYC and financial data with proper encryption, access controls, and audit trails
  • Follow fintech-adjacent data handling practices (even though Stockify states they're not SEBI-registered, KYC/demat data still needs to be handled carefully)

F. Cross-functional

  • Work directly with founders and the Ampify marketing team on landing pages, campaign-linked builds, tracking/pixel implementation (Meta Pixel is already on the site), and conversion-focused changes
  • Turn around fixes/features fast — this is a lean team, not a large engineering org with long sprint cycles

Must-have technical skills

  • Frontend - React or Next.js (site metadata suggests Next.js already) — component-based, SEO-aware (server-side rendering matters here given the content volume)
  • Backend - Node.js, Python (Django/FastAPI), or PHP — strong API design and REST/GraphQL experience
  • Database - SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) — schema design for pricing history, users, transactions
  • DevOps - AWS/GCP/DigitalOcean, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, server management, domain/SSL/DNS handling
  • Mobile - React Native or Flutter — proof of at least one deployed app (Play Store/App Store), not just a tutorial project
  • Integrations - Experience with third-party APIs — payment gateways, KYC/verification tools, external data feeds
  • Version control - Git, proper branching/PR discipline
  • Security basics - Auth (JWT/OAuth), data encryption, input validation, handling PII responsibly

Good-to-have

  • Prior fintech, broking, wealth-tech, or investment platform experience
  • SEO fundamentals — Stockify's growth is heavily content/SEO-driven (100+ company pages, blog)
  • Headless CMS or WordPress-to-custom migration experience
  • Experience with real-time data (websockets/polling for live price updates)
  • Basic understanding of SEBI-adjacent compliance language (even informally)

What disqualifies a candidate

  • Only ever worked as part of a large team with narrow ownership (e.g., \"I only did frontend tickets assigned in Jira\")
  • No live, deployed, still-running project they can show — tutorials and bootcamp clones don't count
