Job Description
Supervise Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) installation, erection, testing, and commissioning activities.
Monitor site activities as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
Supervise installation of cable trays, cable laying, glanding, termination, JB installation, lighting, earthing, and electrical equipment.
Oversee instrumentation works including instrument installation, tubing, impulse lines, calibration, loop checking, and commissioning.
Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, engineering, commissioning, and subcontractor teams.
Review and verify E&I drawings, cable schedules, instrument index, hook-up drawings, and termination details.
Ensure proper material inspection, identification, storage, and installation.
Monitor testing activities such as insulation resistance, continuity, megger testing, earth resistance, and instrument calibration.
Conduct daily progress monitoring and allocate manpower according to project requirements.
Identify site issues, resolve technical problems, and coordinate with engineering/client teams for necessary approvals.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, IEC/IS standards, client requirements, and HSE procedures.
Prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests, checklists, punch lists, and completion records.
Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, loop checking, and system handover activities.
Lead and guide E&I technicians, supervisors, and subcontractor manpower to achieve project targets.
