Senior Engineer - Network & Security

Experience: 6 – 12 Years

About the Role

Primary Skills

Routing & Switching:-

• Advanced understanding of enterprise L2/L3 networking
• Experience managing large-scale network environments

Firewalls:-

• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Checkpoint

Load Balancers:-

• Experience with F5, A10, Citrix NetScaler or similar technologies

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure including routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancers
• Perform L2/L3 troubleshooting and escalation handling for complex network incidents
• Participate in network design, implementation, and optimization initiatives
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and stakeholders to resolve network issues
• Ensure adherence to SLA commitments and incident management processes
• Maintain proper technical documentation and knowledge base updates
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on expertise in Routing & Switching, Firewalls, and Load Balancers
• Experience working in enterprise or managed services environments

Required Skills

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in collaborative and fast-paced environments

Preferred Skills

• Certifications (Preferred)
• Cisco CCNP / CCNA
• Security or firewall vendor certifications (Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.)
• ITIL Foundation certification
