Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the functional Subject Matter Expert for the assigned Oracle module/domain.
- Provide deep functional expertise and guidance on Oracle business processes, workflows, configurations, data flows, and business logic.
- Collaborate with UiPath Test Suite engineers to understand business processes and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.
- Review and validate test cases to ensure functional accuracy, completeness, and appropriate business coverage.
- Identify key business scenarios, positive and negative test conditions, dependencies, exceptions, and edge cases that should be included in testing.
- Provide guidance on Oracle master data, transactional data, business rules, and process dependencies required for test execution.
- Support the identification of end-to-end business process flows and integration points across Oracle modules.
- Review test scripts and automation scenarios developed by the UiPath Test Suite team and provide functional feedback.
- Clarify functional requirements, process variations, and expected system behavior to technical and testing teams.
- Assist with test data requirements and validation of expected test results.
- Identify gaps between business requirements, Oracle functionality, and proposed test scenarios.
- Support defect analysis by validating whether observed behavior is consistent with expected Oracle business processes and requirements.
- Provide functional input during test planning, test execution, defect triage, and test result validation.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements, critical processes, and applicable compliance or control requirements.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Oracle functional teams, QA/Test Engineers, UiPath engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Provide knowledge transfer and functional guidance to testing and automation teams as required.
- Document functional assumptions, business rules, dependencies, and process-specific considerations relevant to testing.
