Senior Python Developer (FastAPI / Microservices)

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka (Work From Office)

Experience: Minimum 6 Years

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Python Developer to design, develop, and scale modern backend systems using Python, FastAPI, and Microservices architecture.

This role is ideal for engineers who have worked on production-grade applications, understand distributed systems, and can take ownership of backend services from design through deployment.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI
Build and maintain Microservices-based applications
Develop secure, high-performance REST APIs
Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams
Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

Required Skills

Minimum 6 years of professional Python development experience
Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI
Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture
Experience designing and developing REST APIs
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL databases
Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows
Strong understanding of software design principles and backend architecture
Experience working with Linux environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AWS cloud services
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, or event-driven architectures
Experience building highly scalable production systems
Fintech, Payments, Banking, Trading, or Crypto domain experience is a strong plus
