About Shelf MerchShelf Merch is an end-to-end corporate gifting, branded merchandise and employee engagement platform.
We help companies manage employee onboarding kits, festive gifting, milestone rewards, client gifts, event merchandise and company swag stores—from creative design and production to personalisation and fulfilment.
We are looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media Content Designer & Video Editor who can transform our products, people and ideas into engaging visual content.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for creating social-media posts, carousels, short videos, Reels, product videos and digital advertising creatives.
This is a hands-on creative role. You should be comfortable developing ideas, shooting content, designing visuals and editing videos independently.
You will work closely with the performance marketing, sales, production and leadership teams to create content that builds the Shelf Merch brand and supports lead-generation campaigns.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Design- Design posts, carousels, Stories, banners and campaign creatives.
- Create content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other digital channels.
- Develop visual templates for recurring content.
- Create product promotions, festival campaigns, hiring posts and corporate announcements.
- Adapt designs into different platform sizes and formats.
- Maintain visual consistency across all Shelf Merch communication.
- Create multiple advertising variations for performance-marketing campaigns.
- Shoot and edit Reels, Shorts, product videos and corporate videos.
- Create videos featuring merchandise, packaging, personalisation and production processes.
- Edit founder-led videos, customer testimonials, event videos and behind-the-scenes content.
- Add subtitles, transitions, background music, motion graphics and sound effects.
- Convert long videos into short social-media clips.
- Optimise videos for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
- Ensure videos are engaging within the first few seconds.
- Develop creative concepts based on marketing and campaign objectives.
- Assist in planning weekly and monthly social-media content calendars.
- Turn product features and business use cases into interesting visual stories.
- Coordinate product arrangements, backgrounds, lighting and basic styling for shoots.
- Capture content using smartphones and professional cameras where required.
- Organise raw footage, photographs, templates and final creative files.
- Maintain a structured digital asset library.
- Work with the performance marketer to create advertisements for Google, LinkedIn and Meta.
- Develop creatives for corporate gifting, onboarding kits, employee engagement, client gifting and company swag stores.
- Create different creative variations for audience and message testing.
- Review campaign performance and improve creatives based on engagement and conversion data.
- Design landing-page graphics, product displays and lead-generation assets.
- Support downloadable catalogues, case studies and campaign presentations.
- 2–5 years of experience in graphic design, video editing or social-media content creation.
- Strong portfolio of social-media designs and edited videos.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Working knowledge of After Effects, Canva, CapCut or similar tools.
- Ability to shoot quality video using a smartphone or camera.
- Good understanding of lighting, framing, composition and audio.
- Experience with colour correction, subtitles and motion graphics.
- Strong understanding of social-media formats and content trends.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver within deadlines.
- Good attention to detail, typography and brand consistency.
- Basic copywriting ability for headlines, captions and on-screen text.
- Willingness to work on-site and shoot content at our office and production facility.
- Experience creating content for product, lifestyle, e-commerce or B2B brands.
- Experience with corporate gifting, merchandise, fashion or consumer products.
- Product photography and product-video experience.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted creative and video tools.
- Experience creating performance-marketing advertisements.
- Ability to create simple animations and motion graphics.
- Comfortable guiding employees or founders during video shoots.
- Willingness to occasionally cover client events or company activities.
