About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Social Science Teacher to join a reputed coaching institute in Rajkot. The ideal candidate should be able to make Social Science engaging, conceptual, and exam-oriented for students of Classes 8–10.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach History, Geography, Civics & Economics to Classes 8th–10th.
• Deliver engaging and concept-focused classroom lectures.
• Prepare students for CBSE & GSEB board examinations.
• Explain difficult concepts using practical examples, maps, current affairs, and visual learning methods.
• Prepare and conduct class tests, assignments, quizzes, and revision sessions.
• Analyse student performance and provide individual guidance where required.
• Complete the syllabus according to the institute's academic schedule.
• Prepare students for board exams and competitive-level academic assessments.
• Maintain a positive, disciplined, and student-friendly classroom environment.
• Coordinate with the academic team regarding syllabus planning and student progress.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Social Science / History / Geography / Political Science / Economics or a relevant field.
• 1–3+ years of teaching experience preferred.
• Experience teaching CBSE and/or GSEB students will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
• Ability to explain concepts in a simple and effective manner.
• Passionate about teaching and helping students achieve strong academic results.
