Software Asset Management (SAM) Operations Analyst

We are looking for a Software Asset Management (SAM) Operations Analyst to support software licensing, compliance, license optimization, and software asset lifecycle management within a global enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage software license lifecycle activities including renewals, true-ups, terminations, and entitlement management.
• Perform license harvesting, reclamation, and optimization activities.
• Support software compliance, audits, and governance processes.
• Execute Flexera reports and analyze software utilization data.
• Manage software licensing requests and SaaS subscription operations.
• Support publisher management activities for Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, and other strategic vendors.
• Prepare operational reports, utilization metrics, and business reviews.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, procurement, and licensing teams.

Required Skills

• 3-6 years of Software Asset Management (SAM) experience.
• Hands-on experience with Flexera and ServiceNow SAM.
• Understanding of software licensing models and compliance.
• Experience in license lifecycle management and optimization.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, or SAP licensing exposure.
• ITIL Foundation, CSAM, CITAM, or Flexera certifications.
• Experience with software audits and compliance programs.
